For the immediate future, Fairbanks Local Schools is closing board meetings to physical presence by the media and public. Meetings will be presented as a live stream from our website. It is with guidance from our legal partners, and an abundance of caution and concern for public health, that we are taking these measures. For tonight’s meeting, we will also be using telecommunications to help follow orders issued across the state. Here is the guidance from the state auditor:
