Fairbanks is a great place to work! Visit our Classified Employee Job Fair on Saturday, April 26 from 9:00am - 11:00am to learn more about upcoming opportunities. Stations for each position will be set up in the student lot. No experience necessary, training will be provided!

School Counselor

The Fairbanks Local School District (Milford Center, OH) is seeking applicants for a High School Guidance Counselor position serving grades 9-12 for the 2025-2026 school year. Fairbanks is located in Central Ohio serving roughly 1,100 students in grades K-12 on a shared campus. 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in related field from an accredited college or university.

  • Proper licensure through the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.

  • Alternative qualifications as deemed necessary by the Superintendents and/or Board of Education.

  • Must pass an FBI / BCI Background Check.

Certified Contract and Benefits. Compensation is in accordance with the certified salary schedule, based on experience and education.

Substitute Teaching Positions

Administrative Positions

The Fairbanks Local School District (Milford Center, OH) is seeking applicants for an Athletic and Facilities Director for the 2025-2026 school year. Fairbanks is located in Central Ohio serving roughly 1,100 students in grades K-12 on a shared campus. 

Responsibilities:

The Athletic and Facilities Director will direct and supervise the district athletic program for grades 7-12, enforce the implementation of the provisions as outlined in the Athletic Handbook, oversee grounds and facilities which includes coordinating and planning with the head of maintenance, supervising custodial staff and supporting facility planning. 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, and a minimum of three years classroom teaching experience preferred.

  • Proper licensure through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce or determined by the Superintendent of Schools.

  • Must pass an FBI / BCI Background Check.

Throughout the year, we may have openings for Classified positions. These are positions that do not require a teaching license. All school staff are required to pass an FBI and BCI background check. 

Panther Paws Coordinator

Fairbanks Local School District is seeking applications for a Panther Paws Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year. The program coordinator will develop, coordinate and implement the after school program for students and will be responsible for meeting all requirements imposed by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Fairbanks Local School District has an opening for a full-time (4-5 hours per day) bus driver for the 2024-2025 school year. No experience is necessary, as the transportation department offers training. Applicants need to have a current FBI/BCI background check.
