Our building offices are currently closed for the summer. The district office is open Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 3:00pm.
Throughout the summer the district conducts many permanent improvement projects and summer deep cleaning. These efforts leave portions of the buildings inaccessible to visitors. Students should not be in the building unless they are here for a scheduled event (sports, band, orientation, etc.) and under the supervision of a coach or advisor. Staff wishing to access classrooms should contact the maintenance department prior to entry to ensure the area is accessible.
Summer school work was given to enrolled Fairbanks students at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. If you are new to the district or misplaced your assignment, please see below for schoolwork by subject/grade level.
High School - Summer Reading
7th and 8th - Summer Reading
Registration Forms: Parents are required to fill out registration forms for each student every year. To access them log into PowerSchool and click on Forms - Registration. Start with the top form (2 Demographics Contacts and Custody). Verify all information and update as needed. You must click Submit at the bottom of the form and it will take you to the next form. This process must be completed for each student you are registering for the 23-24 school year.
Student Athletes: If your child is participating in Fairbanks athletics, you need to create/update your Final Forms information as well.
Residency: If you proved residency for the 2022-2023 school year with a Residence Affidavit, you must complete a new one for the 2023-2024 school year. This information should be submitted to Administrative Offices. If you have moved, please submit a new proof of residence to the building office. A copy of the residency affidavit can be found here.
Middle and high school schedules will be available in the Powerschool app or picked up during the back to school event.
Students with questions or changes to their schedule should contact Mrs. Hooper (Middle School) or Mrs. Gonglik (High School)
School fees are managed by My School Bucks. This provides families the option to pay online with credit card. Cash, check and money order are still options for fee payment if you choose. Families will receive an invoice through email once the fees are posted to My School Bucks. As a reminder the fees are as follows:
Elementary School: $55 per student
Middle School: $50 per student plus additional fees for electives
High School: Fees are determined based on courses
Fees will be invoiced after the start of school. If you have applied for Free or Reduced Lunch, please wait until you receive your notification on that application before you pay your fees.
Parents of newly enrolled and kindergarten students can expect communication from your student’s bus driver in early August. New students in grades 1 - 12 will receive communication the week of August 7th-11th and students in preschool and kindergarten will receive communications the week of August 14th - 18th. If your student rode the bus last year and there are no changes you will not receive communication.
Feel free to contact Beth Wyckoff, Transportation Coordinator, via email, bwyckoff@fairbankspanthers.org or phone, 937-349-9000, ext 1230 if you have any questions.
